Thanks for your interest in the Cowsills Weekend, March 5-9, 2026! We’re excited to have you. Here are the details:
What’s in the retreat package? The retreat package ($350) is all-inclusive of True North Project’s programming and activities. This includes listed events as well as impromptu or special events that are not being advertised publicly. Purchase packages here.
What’s the cost of lodging and where do I stay? Participants are encouraged to stay at our presenting partner, the Vandiver Inn. Single Occupancy rooms (which are limited) are $540/person and Double Occupancy rooms are $325/person ($650/room). A complete stay is four nights (Thursday through Sunday nights).
It is important to note that the vast majority of the Vandiver’s rooms contain one bed (mostly King size). They have a few rooms with a King or Queen bed and a sofa bed or day bed. They do not have any traditional double rooms (2 full or queen beds). If you don’t want to sleep in the same bed with your roommate or on a sofa bed or daybed, then you most likely do not want double occupancy.
To secure your room at the Inn, follow these steps.
Purchase your retreat package!
You will receive a special confirmation email from True North. Check that email closely for the link to the Vandiver’s reservation form.
Click through to the Vandiver’s form and complete the requested information, including accommodations, allergies, etc..
ONLY participants who purchase a retreat package from True North will receive this link. You will not be able to get this information from the Inn - please do not contact them until after you have BOTH purchased your retreat package AND submitted your completed form.
Only a limited number of rooms are available, and they are being exclusively held for this exciting event! Lodging at the Inn covers your room and breakfast—after all, the Inn is a B&B—as well as a welcome reception (Th) and dinner (Fri).
What’s the schedule of events? Please visit the event page for a break out of the main events of the weekend. Retreat packages cover admission to all listed events. Additional schedule details will be available in your check-in package, which you will receive on the first day (Thursday evening event).
Is there anything special a local should know? Yes! The retreat package price is set regardless of whether you’re local - you just won’t have to pay for lodging! However, the Vandiver will offer lunch options for Saturday and Sunday; more details will be available at check-in. You can also join us for breakfast daily from 8-10:30am - it’s $18/person.
Is there something else you liked to know? Please reach out! We are thinking of lots of details, but we are human and may miss some of them.
